Respecting the Greek Legislation, the environment and your safety, we apply methods and take actions that repel snakes from your spaces, without putting in danger the human’s or the snake’s health.
The Greek State has enacted laws that forbid the snakes extermination, allowing only their repulsion. The Greek Legislation forbids killing or hunting snakes.
Snakes are endangered species that are afraid of people. They are good for nature and human societies and are fed with rodents such as mice and rats.
In Greece we can find two categories of venomous snakes:
Snakes with venom at their two front teeth: these are the most dangerous for humans (Viper, asp)
Snakes with venom at their back teeth of their jaw bone (telescopus fallax, malpolon insignitus a.k.a.)
A lot more venomless species, which are not dangerous (watersnakes, platyceps najadum, Balkan whip snake, four-lined snake)
